For the inaugural event of Talking San Diego’s third season, on Saturday, March 14, we’ll welcome Governor Josh Shapiro for a conversation with Harry Litman, the creator and host of Talking San Diego. Governor Shapiro and Litman will discuss the governor’s new memoir, Where We Keep the Light: Stories from a Life of Service. 

In the book, Governor Shapiro shares the experiences that have shaped his remarkable career in public service. From his early athletic dreams, to his embrace of his Jewish faith, to the arson attack on him and his family, the governor opens up about the pivotal moments in his life. 

Governor Shapiro offers his outlook on pushing back against the ugly, divisive politics of our present moment and bringing people together to tackle our shared problems.
